As a registered charity we aim to provide the financial support that makes available a musical education to children and young people.
As most of us know, the gift of music and the talent for playing an instrument or finding a voice is not evenly spread through the community. There is a huge range of talent out there and we believe this should be encouraged at whatever level possible.
We are not dedicated to the pursuit of excellence though we will gladly assist those with a special gift. We will look at most levels of ability including those with disability.
Our aim is to offer, more widely, the services of accredited music teachers whether within the school environment or outside it. We aim to work with teachers to supply lessons to children and young people.
We hope that in these pages you will see an opportunity to assist us by introducing us to schools, independent accredited music teachers or directly to families where this is appropriate. The process will be confidential and, because the trust will deliver its objectives entirely through music teachers, it is not necessary for us to interview or assess musical achievement.
Finally we are actively seeking further funding with which to expand the range of services we provide. Do contact us if you think you may be able to help.
